Martlets Fall to Bearcats

The Martlets made the trip up to the northwest corner of the state to take on Hotchkiss. The Bearcats were deeper and stronger on all courts, which led to 3-0 victories on all courts. The Martlets fought hard and came close to winning games on multiple courts. Highlights of the match were Daniel Frid’s ‘27 competitive first two games at #3, Andrew Ma ‘27 forcing his final game to 11-9, and Issac Kwon ‘28 forcing his second game to extras, falling 12-14 after having some chances. Overall, the Martlets acknowledged they lost to a stronger team and are looking forward to a well deserved break to rest and recover. We will be back to action a week from Wednesday when we travel to Williston, enjoy your long weekend!
